"Exposição Cinzas ao Mar - O lugar do artista"
Exposição individual da artista Carla Fatio, referencia uma
série de odes marinhos, pintados ao longo do mar, em que essas obras sem
chassi, nasceram nas areias. E depois foram levadas para o SESC da
Avenida Paulista em São Paulo... para sua primeira mostra ao público
brasileiro. Lá foram colocadas em chassi, e depois precisaram sair de
caminhão... Essas obras nasceram sobre curadoria do crítico de arte da ABCA
Jacob Klintowitz, em que foi inscrito e produzido o catálogo pelo SESC –SP, com o seu texto “ O lugar do Artista”.
Este ano de 2013, essas obras re-nascem na cidade de Suzano, próximo a cidade de São Paulo, renomeadas de Exposição
Cinzas ao Mar - O lugar do artista (II), e medindo cada uma 2metros de
extensão.
Ocupam o Centro Cultural Moriconi,
com o intuito de dialogar com os artistas da região, em que 4 oficinas de arte-educação são oferecidas.
Obrigada aos meus amigos da cidade de Suzano que fizeram isso possível, como Secretário
Municipal de Cultura, Sr. Suami Paula de Azevedo, aos amigos e grandes artistas Policarpo
Ribeiro e Pedro Neves, e aos novos amigos que surgiram nessa empreitada de
arte.

“Exhibition Ashes in the Sea-the place of the artist”
Solo exhibition of the visual artist Carla Fatio, references a series of odes, painted along the
sea, in which these works without frame, were born on the sands. And
then, it was taken to the SESC Paulista Avenue in São Paulo to its first show
the Brazilian public. There, it was placed in framework and then it had to
leave by truck ... These works were curating by the art critic of the ABCA Jacob Klintowitz, on which text was
inscribed and the catalogue produced by SESC-SP, with the text named by
"the place of the artist".
This year of 2013, these works re-born in the city of Suzano,
near of Sao Paulo city, renamed “Ashes
to Sea-the place of the artist (II) ”, and measuring each one 2metres of extension. The paintings are occupying the Cultural Centre Moriconi, in order to
engage in dialogue with the artists of the region, where 4 art education
workshops are been offered.
Thanks to my friends in the
city of Suzano that made this possible, as Municipal Secretary of Culture, Mr.
Suami Paula de Azevedo, friends and great artists as Policarpo Ribeiro and Pedro Neves,
and new friends that have emerged in this endeavor of art.
